The Deputy Squad Lead plays a vital role in supporting the Squad Lead in managing the BOT, ODC, and Staffing Teams in Hanoi. Ensuring smooth operations and high-quality service delivery. The Deputy Squad Lead will directly manage a smaller team of 2-3 projects (6-10 members), fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
How You Can Contribute
- Team Leadership:
- Directly lead and manage a sub-team of 2-3 projects (6-10 members) within the BOT, ODC, or Staffing Teams.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting open communication and knowledge sharing.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, helping them develop their skills and achieve their goals.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Project Management:
- Assist the Squad Lead in overseeing project execution, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve project-related issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Resource Management:
- Assist in forecasting resource needs for the sub-team, ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet project demands.
- Work closely with the Squad Lead to optimize resource allocation across projects.
- Identify and address any skill gaps within the sub-team, recommending training or development opportunities.
- Process Improvement:
- Actively identify areas for process improvement within the sub-team’s operations.
- Propose and implement solutions to streamline workflows and increase efficiency.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices across the squad.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Maintain open communication with the Squad Lead, providing regular updates on team performance and project progress.
- Collaborate effectively with other teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and achieve common goals.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations as needed, representing the team and providing updates on project deliverables.
5.Additional Responsibilities:
- Assist in the onboarding and training of new team members, ensuring they are equipped to contribute effectively.
- Support the Squad Lead in talent development initiatives, identifying and nurturing future leaders within the sub-team.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices, sharing knowledge with the team and contributing to the squad’s continuous improvement efforts.
What You Need To Maximize Your Contribution
- 5+ years of experience in a technology or project management role.
- Demonstrated leadership ability, with experience in managing and motivating teams.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, execute, and deliver projects successfully.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with team members and stakeholders.
- Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- B2 level in English (CEFR) or 6.0 IELTS score.
