We are seeking a Data Engineer Intern to assist our data engineering team in designing, building, and maintaining data infrastructure. As a Data Engineer Intern, you will play a key role in supporting our data team by assisting with the development, maintenance, and optimization of our data infrastructure.
How You Can Contribute
- Data Pipeline Development: Assist in the design, development, and testing of data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our data warehouse.
- Data Quality Assurance: Implement data validation and quality checks to ensure data accuracy and completeness throughout the pipeline.
- Data Exploration and Analysis: Work with data engineers and analysts to explore and analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Documentation: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of documentation for data pipelines, processes, and systems.
What You Need To Maximize Your Contribution
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field.
- Good English command.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and experience working with databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
- Familiarity with data pipeline tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Apache Kafka) and ETL processes.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.
- Understanding of programming languages such as Python or Java.
- Basic knowledge of data warehousing concepts.
- Familiarity with big data tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
