The Problem
Returns, inventory, rising labor costs and increasing e-commerce competition are not new problems for retailers and brand managers. Predictive sizing has been sold as a solution. Unfortunately, it’s still just a prediction based upon incomplete data. Consumers and brands of the future will certainly expect more. Brands should have the power to know their customers’ size and fit before they even set foot in the showroom, while customers should have the convenience of never having to enter the store because a perfectly fitted, targeted experience is available online. Size Stream needed a partner to rapidly realize this future with them.
The Solution
With Zudy’s Lite Integration and no-code development, Size Stream was able to deploy a configurable, scanner- and factory-integrated, personalized shopping platform in three months with a small team.
Size Stream did not spend years on custom code and development or untested designs, nor did it purchase any out-of-the-box software. With Zudy, Size Stream integrated and delivered products from the factory in under two months using Zudy’s configurable, modern web integration. A flexible relational database was used to capture product details and factory specifications with a simple web page interface, eliminating the need for manually maintained spreadsheets.
Securely stored in a scalable, cloud-hosted environment, product details were transposed to the consumer in a basic configurator. A light CRM, payment processor integration, and order management dashboard completed the customer-facing solution. In order to convert three-dimensional measurements to a factory-consumable specification, a configurable rules engine was developed, enabling the technical expertise of the product designer to be encoded into a predictable size without a single line of code. Order management and integration to shipping partners enabled Size Stream’s partners to track and manage the delivery of their customer’s purchase.
