Senior Quality Control Engineer

• Own the Quality Strategy: Design, implement, and own comprehensive test plans (functional, integration, performance, security) for complex web and mobile applications.
• Champion Automation: Build and maintain robust automated testing frameworks from scratch using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright to drive efficiency and reliability.
• Drive Defect Prevention: Collaborate closely with developers on root cause analysis, embedding quality standards and preventative measures directly into the development lifecycle.
• Mentor and Lead: Guide junior Quality Assurance engineers, share industry best practices, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence within the team.

What You Need To Maximize Your Contribution

Experience

•       5+ years in Quality Assurance / Quality Control
•       Minimum 2 years in a senior or lead QA capacity

Manual Testing Expertise

•       Hands-on experience designing, executing, and maintaining functional test cases
•       End-to-end user journey validation and cross-platform testing (web, mobile, API)
•       Skilled in requirement analysis, test scenario design, regression, and exploratory testing

Test Automation Architecture

•       Proven ability to design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks
•       Proficiency in a modern language: Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript
•       Experience with leading frameworks: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent

Performance Engineering

•       Hands-on experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, K6)
•       Able to identify, isolate, and communicate system bottlenecks clearly

Application Security Testing

•       Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10 principles
•       Practical experience with security testing tools: OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, or SonarQube

AI-Augmented Testing

•       Working knowledge of applying AI tools to both manual and automated testing workflows

Technical Proficiency

•       Deep experience testing web, mobile (iOS/Android), and RESTful APIs
•       Proficiency with cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and CI/CD integration (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
•       Strong command of Agile methodologies and tooling: Jira, TestRail

Domain Knowledge

•       Proven experience in e-commerce (mandatory) — including platforms such as Shopify, Magento, or similar

Communication

•       Excellent English communication skills, written and verbal
•       Able to articulate complex technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

•       Experience testing AI-driven workflows, LLM integrations, or Copilot-powered features
