IT Operations & Employee Support
- Lead day-to-day IT operations and internal technical support for employees across the company.
- Oversee IT Helpdesk activities and ensure timely resolution of support requests through well-defined SLAs.
- Collaborate with HR and related stakeholders to support onboarding/offboarding processes, including account provisioning, device setup, access control, and IT asset allocation.
- Ensure employees are equipped with secure and efficient workplace technology throughout their employment lifecycle.
Infrastructure & Network Management
- Maintain and optimize office IT infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi systems, VPNs, firewalls, and conference room A/V equipment.
- Proactively monitor system performance, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and coordinate with vendors to ensure stable and reliable IT operations.
- Ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability of internal IT systems and network services.
Asset & License Management
- Manage the full lifecycle of IT assets, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, upgrades, and disposal.
- Track and manage company devices, inventory, and endpoint management systems.
- Administer and optimize software licenses and subscriptions such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Jira, and other internal platforms to ensure cost efficiency and compliance.
Security & Compliance
- Implement and maintain corporate IT security policies and best practices.
- Manage endpoint security, Mobile Device Management (MDM), Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR), password policies, and access management controls.
- Drive the implementation of a secure and scalable IT environment aligned with modern security standards and Zero Trust principles.
- Conduct regular audits, risk assessments, backup monitoring, and security awareness initiatives.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Manage relationships and contracts with ISPs, hardware vendors, software providers, and managed service partners.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Operations, HR, and leadership teams to support business needs and operational efficiency.
- Translate technical concepts into clear business language for non-technical stakeholders.
Team Leadership & Continuous Improvement
- Mentor and support and develop IT Support Specialists, System Administrators, or related team members.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across IT operations, workflows, and internal systems.
- Lead IT budgeting, hardware planning, software cost optimization, and infrastructure roadmap planning by proactively assessing operational needs and recommending scalable solutions aligned with business growth.
What You Need To Maximize Your Contribution
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in IT Operations, Infrastructure, System Administration, or related fields.
- At least 2 years of experience in a leadership, supervisory, or team management role within an SME, startup, or fast-growing environment.
- Strong understanding of networking, endpoint management, workplace technology, and internal IT operations.
- Experience improving, scaling, or standardizing internal IT processes and support operations.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to Have
- Certifications such as ITIL Foundation, CompTIA Network+/Security+, CCNA, Microsoft 365 Certified Administrator, or equivalent vendor certifications.
- Experience building or scaling internal IT operations in evolving or fast-growing environments.
- Familiarity with ITSM tools, Zero Trust principles, or modern workplace security practices.
